The Hart House Chess Club is hosting the HHCC Social: Trivia + Exec Challenge on Friday, October 3rd, 2025!
Think you can beat a Hart House Chess Club exec member at chess even if they’re blindfolded or down a piece? Or maybe you just want to test your knowledge of chess trivia? Come join us for an entertaining evening with two parts: trivia to kick things off, followed by an exec challenge where you can face off against exec members with a variety of odds.
Event Details
WHEN: Friday, October 3rd, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
WHERE: Hart House (7 Hart House Cir, Toronto) – East Common Room.
WHAT:
- Chess Trivia | 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: You don’t need to be good at chess for this!
- Exec Challenge | 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Try to beat some of the 2025-26 HHCC exec members with odds (blindfold, missing pieces, etc.)
ENTRY FEE: Free for all!
SPECIAL PRIZES: Small prizes for trivia winners + challenge station victories. All attendees are entered into a raffle draw for a HHCC t-shirt.
MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 60 participants.
REGISTRATION: No registration required!
EQUIPMENT: Chess sets and boards provided.
