To run our events every year, we require a strong foundation of volunteers. Beginning in the 2023/24 year, the Club started a dedicated email list for volunteers to join and be informed of any volunteering opportunities. These opportunities include significant events hosted by the Club, fundraising events, high-school opportunities, Casual Chess Friday events, major events such as PanAms or CUCC bids, and other exciting projects that the Executive looks to volunteers for help for.
We hope you consider volunteering with the Club. Instructions for volunteer positions including the time commitment, are posted with each email calling out for volunteers.
Volunteering is currently open to all community members and public at large. However, special considering will be made for U of T students, alumni and local high school students looking to volunteer at the Club.
