We are pleased to announce that lessons are restarting for the fall. You must be a member of the Hart House Chess Club to attend our lessons at no further cost.
Lessons will begin Friday October 9th!

This semester, our coaches are NM Samuel Zhang (Beginner) and NM Noah Kim (Intermediate).
Beginner:
- Prior chess experience is not required, and pace will be adjusted based on class strength.
- Lessons will be taught by: NM Samuel Zhang
- Registration: Register
- Schedule: 4:00 to 5:30 pm on Fridays
Intermediate:
- Players are expected to know fundamental ideas of piece movement, basic openings, and be ready to solve basic tactics.
- Lessons will be taught by: NM Noah Kim
- Schedule: 5:30 pm to 7 pm on Fridays
